Some families know a great deal about their roots; others know very little. This site is an attempt to record some of what
I've learned about our family history. Families tend to be scattered all over the country nowadays. One of the goals of this
web site is to help our family stay connected even though we live far apart.
I became interested in my family history when I was quite young. I have been researching since 1988. Included in this page
is information that I have gained from my research as well as from family members who have been my greatest source.
This page is dedicated to the children of Catherine Boyer and Joseph A. Hunter, the founders of the Hunter family in Allegheny
Co., PA.
